- Every meal is paid out of pocket, or funded by a disclosed reader contribution with an independent paid visit before publish.
- No payment from restaurants in exchange for coverage.
- No undisclosed free meals.
- No reviews where there is a personal relationship with the owner.
- Any comp is disclosed on the review.
- Anonymous visits whenever possible.
