Method
Every review uses the same structure. Seven categories scored; six get a paragraph. Verdict and return call at the top.
Review template
- Header. Restaurant name, address, city, price range, cuisine, date visited, and what was ordered.
- Body. One paragraph each for flavor, seasoning, texture, presentation, value for price, and service — always in that order.
- Verdict. One sentence, weighted final score, and a return call (yes, no, or maybe with a condition).
- Disclosure. When a visit was reader-requested, partially funded, or comped.
Revisit policy
Before publishing a negative review (final score below 6.0), the restaurant is visited at least twice on separate occasions.

Contribution rules
- Contributions cover meal cost only — never the review outcome.
- At least one independent paid visit before publishing.
- Leftover funds from a visit may stay with the reviewer as compensation for time and writing.
- Priority and Full meal are fixed prices — refunds after a completed visit are uncommon.
- Custom tier: amounts well above a reasonable meal cost are refunded after the visit.
- Full refund if the restaurant closes before a review can publish.
- No contributions from the restaurant or anyone affiliated with it.
